Personal Life

On a personal note, I love spending time with my family and am a passionate Eagles fan. A large amount of my time has evolved around advocating for our own son, who faces his own challenges with disabilities. Our two older boys, both Cherry Hill East graduates, are currently serving our country with the U.S. Coast Guard and U.S. Army, respectively.

I never knew what family structure was until I had a family of my own. As an orphan in Puerto Rico, I spent most of my childhood, adolescence and early adult life in orphanages and foster homes. Having emerged from nothing and succeeding in providing stability for my family gives me the drive to continue advocating for those who may not have a voice. I am blessed to have my wife and life partner, Jesenia, support me in my endeavors. She is the rock of our family, and I am honored to experience our life journey together. I have dedicated my entire adult life to protecting and serving those in need, and I will continue to do so. This personal passion reflects my commitment to the betterment of our community. Career and Achievements

I have had the honor of speaking at many Boards of Education Public Hearings in support of our Special Education Community. I have also been a guest speaker for The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia on the topic of Parents Advocacy within a medical environment. My personal experience advocating for services for my own child, and serving on the Cherry Hill Special Education PTA, has cemented the notion that many more parents within our district face similar challenges.

Responsibilities and Skills

With my role as an Executive Member of the Cherry Hill Special Education PTA and my previous experience as a Director at Customs and Border Protection, I bring a deep understanding of communication and a strong dedication to special education advocacy as well as other challenging topics our district is facing such as redistricting, budget and closing the opportunity gap. My understanding of these topics, combined with my enthusiasm for collaborating with others, shapes my approach to addressing these issues. I am confident that my ability to facilitate meaningful conversations will help create an effective platform for engagement with our community, board members and school administrators.
